OSSRC Rubrics

Selection of resources to the OSRRC web site involves a multi-step peer review process that is dependent upon procedures that provide a series of checks and balances that help assure the quality of each resource recommended by the OSSRC. The OSSRC has developed various rubrics that resource reviewers use to evaluate resources. Presently, the OSSRC has developed three rubrics; an instructional resource rubric to evaluate lesson plan and unit plans that align to the Ohio Social Studies Academic Content Standards; a content resource rubric to evaluate secondary resources that provide content support for implementation of best practices and classroom instruction; and a primary resource rubric to evaluate the quality of published or digitalized primary resources. Using the links below educators are welcome to view each of the three OSSRC quality control rubrics.
