These are two telegrams and a letter to Ohio Governor George Hoadly from operator John Brashears, the general superintendant of the Consolidated Coal and Mining Company, and Milbury M. Greene, president of the the Columbus, Hocking Valley & Toledo Railway Company describing the situation at the mines.
